Bad Boys III begins filming Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were spotted causing traffic in ATL. Nothing new to report just expressing happiness that the movie is officially on the way. I think that an opportunity to capitalize on the franchise was missed. It could have been what Fast and The Furious became eventually, if they would have produced the films back to back. Is Neil Blomkamp The Right Fit For Robocop 2

One of my great friends who I do a lot of work with on the T3 media's YouTube channel disagrees with me on one major subject.  Neil Blomkamp is a one trick pony. Ever since district 9 my friend Sean has been saying that Neil Bluhm camp is a great director. After just 1 major release I would say he did a great job but great director is yet to be seen. I may be alone in this I know Sean disagrees with me but elysium and Chappie just did not do it. Not that they weren't good movies in their own right they just told the exact same story as district 9.

It seems to me that Neil Blomkamp can only tell a story where the government has some kind of control over a group of people and some kind of enhancement or technology gets out or away from their control and that entity then has to do everything they can to contain in recapture and reclaim the target. Is the exact same story. Should I be worried then he was set to direct a new Aliens movie? Maybe perhaps not. It was not a property that he Created himself so what do I worry that he was taken off that project and then put on the red con/reboot of the robocop sequel?

With Neil Blomkamp heading the helm for robocop to a movie that set to erase the original robocop sequels and every sequel that came after with an all new and original direction, we hope, maybe this is a new beginning. I believed more so with alien.I know the more that I think about it now Robocop is almost the exact same story as Chappie and Elysium.  Maybe having Neil play in a new sandbox that he did not come create is a good step but the sand is all too familiar for half. This could be a good thing for his type of directing and writing style or we just may see the same old things he's done for his other 3 fillings infused in a beloved universe.

Things like having the hero having to run away and escape from their creators was already set inside of the robocop universe but other things like Casting unknown rappers from other countries Playing major key roles in the film with little to no acting ability. Lest we forget he almost cast eminem to play in elysium.   I'm hopeful that robocop movie good but if it is lacking for a financial flop I will officially jump off the bandwagon for this director.

Movie Reviews: Minions

Evolving from single-celled yellow organisms at the dawn of time, Minions live to serve, but find themselves working for a continual series of unsuccessful masters, from T. Rex to Napoleon. Without a master to grovel for, the Minions fall into a deep depression. This is the part in the beginning of the movie that was also in the trailer. I was out buying popcorn. 









Sandra Bullock as Scarlett OverKill was one of the funnier characters, the duo of Jon Hamm as Herb Overkill was a great dynamic. I didn't know that all the Minions were voiced by Pierre Coffin.


I'll have to watch this movie again to determine with was the better film, Inside Out or Minions. Though I believe Minions will make more money and take the top spot till Ant-Man will make the cut. My prediction for the week. Minions are number one, Jurassic World will take number two spot and Inside Out will be third.

***SPOILER ALERT***



The biggest surprise that I could have waited for was the return of Steve Carell as Young Gru. I was okay with it but I felt that it was too soon. If Minions spawns a sequel I would have rather Gru come then. But I can see that were leaning towards the adventures of Gru and Minions from the younger years.

Movie News: Wesley Snipes in talks with Marvel on Blade IV

If Marvel is legitimately considering a new installment then it may be Feigies first solid mistake.

Wesley Snipes in talks for Blade IV with Marvel, I am shocked. Blade III killed that franchise proper. What the hell is going on?



That news came from Empire. Lets just hope its not true.

Through The Trailers: Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

imdb says that the plot is unknown, but I think its pretty obvious. Andrew Deutschman needed a reason to bring in more old school video cameras and VHS tapes. This franchise is obviously about of the conspiracy to bring VCR's back into mainstream sales. Now that the truth is out, I'm going to be honest. This looks awesome. I'll agree, the last few movies have been going down in quality. The only reason to watch was to see if Katie Featherston playing Katie would make an appearance. She's a native Texas girl so I must always show my love and support for her. My crush demands that I give her props. She's my newest obsession. 

But I'm going to say the unpopular thing. This movie looks like it will be good. It was scary how the camera that can see what the naked eye can't showed this much in the trailer. 

I hope it means that we're in for a world of scares from the actual film. I think this will be the first P.A. that will have the scares be right in your face more than just quiet and to the side. 

If this is that last one, I hope it ends with a bang. Lets see that stupid monster already. Come on. 

The connections to the rest of the franchise has been clever. I'm waiting for the full circle to unfold. Go Katie!!!

Mad Max was Awesomely Overrated!

Maybe its because everyone said its so great. I can't be told that.

You build up my expectations and I'm going to always think it could have been better. In this case, no, it was the perfect blend of action and suspense. The practical effects were great
and it was a wild ride but seeing as everyone was going on and on I can only start from the top and begin to chip away at the perfect grade once I see something I don't like.

For starters, stop saying this is a Furiosa's movie. Mad Max was the hero helping out his fellow co and supporting actors. But this was very much a Mad Max movie.

Well, that's all I got. The only complaint. The viewers complaining about whether or not this was really a Mad Max movie. I say, who cares. This was an action packed thrill ride. Just watch it, and be entertained. Was it the best movie in the world? No. But it fires on all cylinders and has a guitar with flames.

Yep! One of the best ever.

Oh yeah, if Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy aren't getting along, its not a problem, its obvious that George Miller is handing off the franchise to a Furiosa. This would be great for female leads. Charlize Theron is proven to be box office gold. It would be great for Hollywood to bank on her. I could live with this being the last Mad Max but since we're getting a sequel I'd love it if Tom Hardy would stop channeling Bane in every other movie. Or is that just his voice?
