The Upside to watching Cranston & Hart was my shared moment with Perri Nemiroff

My fiancee and I started off the day working. I am a real estate broker and had a client to show a home in Richmond Texas. My client who i've been trying to get into a new rental finally was approved for a brand new home that he loves. It was a good day for him and a weight off of his shoulders. We went out together around 4 p.m. in the afternoon after a morning of enjoying quality time together and lets just say "resting" we "rested our brains out".

Image result for credit realtyAfter work we decided to go to a movie, since we were so close to Katy, I used my AMC A-List subscription to reserve two tickets for the movie The Upside starring Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston. Both of us were running on fumes, not having lunch so we made sure to have food before going to see our film. We chose Red Lobster and had the steak and shrimp. It was outstanding and the service was too. Red Lobster by the Katy Mills mall in Katy Texas. Then it was off to the AMC in the same area. We were up on the second row. I usually sit in the middle and center but the film was sold out.

The best part was before the trailers started off and I saw my Collider Crush, the average Goddess slash Perfect Human, Perri Nemiroff on a commercial before the trailers. Whatever the hell my fiancee was talking about was immediately rejected as all of my senses were now focused on Perri. Well, maybe 2 or 3 of my senses. I don't want to be too extra right now. It was so awesome I even tweeted about the situation and was retweeted by the Queen herself. My heart is still rapidly reacting. I just want to have lunch with this woman and talk movies for hours. That's my dream, but for now we can just tweet. Till That Day.
I guess its fitting that she is called the "Fantasy Movie Analyst"

Okay, the movie. Brilliant.

Cranston and Hart reminded me of a chemistry similar to Richard Pryor and Gene Hackman or Murphey and Hall. I would love to see them team up again. One of the best things about the film was that it could have followed a lot of campy cliches of a feel good movie. Where the person who needs a second chance or prove he's a good person does a crooked thing in the beginning and it comes back to bite the new found love or relationship then he has to re-redeem himself all over again with some huge gesture. I mean, it happened but in a more realistic and touching way. Where hurt fillings and realistic adult ways of moving past it were used instead of the typical movie campy stuff. The cast Kidman, Farahani, and Aja King from How To Get Away With Murder were top shelf casting and the director managed to pull together a team that successfully caused me to care about each of them, no matter how long or short their time were on screen. I stayed invested and interested in all of them and that's a rare thing to do.

You will have a good time watching this film. The Feel Good of the year is an understatement. The Feel Great Movie of the year. You will be inspired and want to do more and do better for yourself and for others. With just the right tone and pacing this film was 2 hours long and I did not feel it. When it ended I could have sat through another ten or fifteen minutes. I would love to see Kevin and Bryan again in another project.

In conclusion, Perri, I would love to be your next tag team partner on the Schmoedown.

Remakes Overshadowing The Originals

Ninad Khand

hey guys, greetings from India,
i love the show and watch everyday. My questions is regarding remakes. Do you think the studios are focusing more on remakes than an original concept. movies like memento or Ghostbusters should be kept untouched. And because of more remake ideas coming across Studios do you think that new original ideas for movies are being suppressed.
thanks for answering my question, keep up the great work..
This message was sent out to Collider Video which is collidervideo@gmail.com and was sent to us by mistake. Since we're such good neighbors we're delivering it to you now.
You'll get people who only see a finite amount of movies per year. You want to see your favorite movies get recognition, but in today's society the truth is this business, as Michael Bay from ERB eloquently put it, "Is All About The Motherfucking Money". We vote with our dollars, since remakes have the stigma of being bad and the gift of name recognition, movie producers will roll the dice because of the evidence that people will pay to see them. This doesn't mean that the overwhelming amount of original movies that are being filmed go unnoticed, its just that a lot of them do not get as big of marketing campaigns as the ones we're going out to see.

Boss Battles

The Era of Comic Book Gods

                   THANOS                                APOCALYPSE                          DARKSEID

All I know is that when I sit down in my seat I will be ready The Watch each and every one of these movies more than once happily. If either one of these movies promise me 2 dish out a third ticket then my mind that would be the clear winner. I will be going for the adventure, the advancement of visual effects, and supporting comic books in general. Butt the one movie that pushes me to pay for that third or possibly more ticket to see this awesome story unfold will be the movie that execute the best boss battle. We've known and loved these Heroes for the past 15 years now it's time to join the Dark Side pun intended and see what these villains have to offer. Thanos vs. Darkseid vs. Apocalypse Datz how I'm looking this mashup. Heroes conspire but if we learned anything from the villain of The Fifth Element it's only when you destroy everything that the true excitement begins. May the best God win.

These villains are a threat on a completely different scale of reality. Some are god-like and others are true gods, in the end, the true winner will be the audience. We moviegoers are ready to experience something we have never seen before. With the coming Avengers, movies building larger teams from Iron Man to the Vision. With 20th Century Fox we have a rise of a new X-Men universe. Warner Brothers has Planet apocalypse soon to be inflamed as the Justice League assembles. A lot of fans will say "Well this just looks like a job for Superman". Alone? He cannot defeat one of these enemies. Even Apocalypse could probably defeat Superman. Don't believe me then let the debate begin Marvel Fanboys Bring It On LOL.

We are in the age of the god-like villain. Comic book movies are shifting now that we have defeated enemies on the local level, on to the state level, to the international level and have saved the world. The only direction now is to pull back or fight on a universal level. With the coming of Thanos and apocalypse for Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox slash and Marvel. Even Warner Brothers is laying the foundation for the coming of Darkseid.

Okay fanboys lets address the elephant god in the room. Thanos is a ripoff of Darkseid. Apocalypes is technically human so we are looking at this being a match up that favors Darseid. It seems that Thanos is in love with death and Darkseid is seeking the Anti-life equation. Darkseid is from a planet call Apocalypse and Apocalypse is so named. These guys are completely different and yet the same. Cheering one is cheering them all. S

ay hello to the bad guys.

Talking Through The Movies: Christopher Fagan (Executive Producer) Says Thank You Movie Fans

Thank you so much!!!

I'm learning a lot of things with the new channel on YouTube. Its great to get to just talk to my friends. We are having a blast, Cody "Code Breaker" Weaver, Joe "The Other Schmoe" Perez and Sean "Can't Come Up With A Nick Name" Malloy. These past few days, post and videos have been an experience. We're off to a great start and feel like we're on the path to really rock it on the Movie watcher and reviewer universe.

A lot has changed in the few days I've started. Its no secret that I am a John Campea guy. I look up to him in a lot of ways. I'd be Super Siked to see meet the man. But more than that I appreciate what he's done on YouTube on and off AMC. His tutorials on how to get started in the business and more, his brutal honesty to what this business is and what it means to him. I wish to be as honorable on my path.

Today I'll be taking time out to see Ant Man, hoping to do a few more blogs on the subject. Giving an honest review and taking notes on what was seen and how the movie made me react. I hope you guys enjoy the read. To the people helping me out on the blogs and videos, I'm not just talking the ones who join me, I'm reaching out to the ones who comment. Keep Them Coming!!! It makes me better. I'm sure I'm headed down the path of running into the ones who'll hate my guts, be it the way I look, talk, think or breathe, but at the end of the I'm thankful for all of it.

My friends are awesome! My hobby for movies takes me places to escape the real world for moments at a time and its very therapeutic. I'm grateful. I'll do my best to keep up the chatter and find my voice. All I ask in return is for your honesty. Be brutal, TALK HARD! As always, Let Keep Talking.

Peace

-Chris
