Will the Tomb Raider reboot surpass it's predecessors

In line now, waiting to see the advance screening of Tomb Raider 2018. My hopes for this film has recently sank due to one trailer that gave a totally different tone to the movie and what I expected. I am hoping that the direction took ques from the Xbox version of the latest video games but now I'm thinking it will have too many attempts to comedy.

I didn't like the 1st tomb raider at all but I gave the second one a chance even though I knew I didn't like it and I was still disappoint. I'm hoping that this one turn the franchise around but after seeing that 2nd trailer I don't know. If it's anything like the tone that was set on the latest video games is should be fine because the seriousness and the elements of danger that was costantly around despite the supernatural effects and on the line magical villains still gave it a grittiness.

Janina Gavankar A New Hope In Female Badasses Of Star Wars

Star Wars Battlefront II Trailer

5 out of 5

"I waited thirty years for this. I still remember my last orders. The day the real war began."
―Commander Iden Versio

I knew I recognized that voice and then when I saw the images play out on the trailer there was something familiar about her. I could not get it out of my head. I kept saying. I've seen her in a movie somewhere before, a TV show or something. Something about her.

Thank Google.

True Blood, she was a were wolf.

Janina Zione Gavankar is now voicing Commander Iden Versio in the upcoming game Star Wars Battlefront II. This game promises to make up for the rush job that was its predecessor. I managed two months before the trade in for store credit. For shame Disney, For Shame EA, For Shame Lucas.

But here we have a New Hope. A campaign that promises a lead role from the Imperial side of the war. The ones who ended slavery in the galaxy. The Emperor who brought true peace. I once said during a commentary of Clerks the movie. I believe when the Death Star blew up there were plenty of imperial ranking officers on R & R on party planets. Probably spending time with their mistresses living their part time double lives. To see it their main lives end in a flash. Watching in horror as their home base blew up. I believe, without any apology, that many of them lived on the Death Star with their spouses and children. But that's my version of the movie that will likely never be told. I'll create a fan fiction story soon.

It seems that Star Wars is shifting to women and I couldn't be more excited. Now that we have a completely new take on a video game where the entire campaign is from the perspective of the Empire, I am very happy that they're also going lead female as well. To show that the Empire didn't just see diversity as just height or shoe size.

Thirty years, from the the Return of the Jedi to the Last Jedi. It seems that we're going to go on a full canon story and finally see the reason why the First Order or The Empire may have a few points to ad to the board of antagonism. Will this be the pendulum swing that brings fans to the ways of the Empire. Will this become Palpetines final revenge?

I'm also excited that the game will have a mode where we can mix and match heroes from different eras. The multiplayer and coop modes seem like it will push the envelope from any other battlefront games from the past. The fans have spoken and now it seems like we have been heard. This seems like a step in the right direction. I have plenty of faith in what I'm seeing so far. Congratulations to Janina. I can't wait to play the game and kill the rebel scum with you.

Star Wars Movie Fans Vs Star Wars Gamers

IMG_3911We all live in the same Galaxy Far Far Away but what are you more excited for? I know that the movies are the tell all end all but there is something to be said about the games, books and movies. These were once known as the expanded universe. Now, Canon. What will be the best experience? Will you jump for joy seeing Luke Skywalker take down a stormtrooper in all his glory or will you rise in triumph as you control Luke to destroy your enemies?

If for one will be doing both. As will most pure and true fans. In all reality, they're will probably be just as many people who'll buy the game but I can't imagine many of them who do won't see the movie. Most of the movie fans and views will probably not buy the game itself. There's money to be made on both sides but at the end of the day, we're all about the cinematic experience. Winner, Movies.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Game Play Reaction

I'm an average gamer. I think that I have a healthy love for the art of gaming. There is a new game on the horizon known as Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. This is the third installment of the Black Ops franchise made by the company Treyarch, a sub-company under Activision. The Call of Duty team has broken all kinds of records when they came out with part two. To this day, just last night, I was playing Black Ops 2 with my close friends along with 50,000 other people online.

The love for this game is still strong. There has been two games since Ops 2 came out from Call of Duty yet the majority of gameplay is given to Ops 2. Call of Duty Ghost, the next game since Black Ops 2 was not well received and Call of Duty Advance Warfare is only a slight step up, which makes the game adequate.

With two games in a row not as well received as  the Black Ops games it made since that they go back to the well and create the 3rd of a series that shows nothing but excellence. But. . .we better test it out. I'm sure that Activision were worried that maybe the tide was turning. So lets put out a Beta and test this bad boy out.

Guys, when I say this game is awesome, its an understatement. I'm not saying this game will surpass part two in game sells but it doesn't have to. It just has to be good. It has to make an impact. It has to be better than the last two pieces of of garbage. I will. The controls of the game play and the over all action is great. I really feel the recoil and believe they've perfected the overall feel of the game. The colors the maps and the definition of the characters were also beautifully done.

November can't come soon enough.

Be ready to join us.
