Ariel Will Be Black In Disney Live Action Remake

It has been stated by The Hollywood Reporter website that the upcoming live-action musical of The Little Mermaid directed by Rob Marshall has found its Ariel. Singer-actress Halle Bailey will  be stirring as The Little Mermaid herself. I know very little about her butt from what I've read she is a part of a R&B sister duo called Chloe X Halle.  it turns out that they are under a label that is head by Mega pop star Beyonce Knowles. I am very confident in the abilities of Bob Iger and the casting decisions for the majority of the remakes of Disney Classics lately. I cannot help but begin to Fan the flames of the inevitable controversies that are about to play this film.

Just like with Will Smith for Aladdin, which has gross close to nine hundred million dollars as of today, just like Maleficent there are fans who will attack this movie for the craziest of reasons. Here is a legitimate criticism that I already see coming. The hiring of a person whose background is music instead of acting for the most part. I always feel that going with proven Talent is the best route but we do not know the script and what the director is looking for so her Casting may be the perfect casting for this type of film. The other main issue that is inevitable will be the fact that we're going with a black actress instead of a Caucasian actress to portray Ariel. This also means that theoretically Ariel's father and all of her sisters will be black unless race and how mermaids are born in the world this director will create is not a major factor. A white or Caucasian merman may have African-American looking female mer-children.  Whatever the rules are it is still inevitable that moviegoers who love to troll and others who just do not like to see their beloved characters change in any way especially with race are about to cause a major uproar.

This is never fair and it has always proven to be futile in the end. for one, mermaids are not real and there is no written rule except from maybe a few supremist that a mermaid has always have to be depicted by a white person. But when we start to change a character who was portrayed originally one way, then the trolls of the internet will always accuse the maker of the film of politicizing or trying to follow trends. It's never possible in their minds that this actress and singer just simply crushed the audition.

If I were to play conspiracy theorist it would not be on changing the race of a character it would simply be about the casting decision of a young up and coming actress who is signed to a label that is owned by one of the most powerful women in all of entertainment, Beyonce Knowles. Beyonce is also playing Nala in the upcoming Lion King film. it may be a coincidence but I know it had to have played a tad bit of a factor. If anything the soundtrack should be amazing. you all the guaranteed original music from the star and her producer Beyonce. I feel that there are probably a lot of back deals happening in the making of this movie with the connection of The Lion King casting and the Sea Little Mermaid casting.

There were a lot of actors out who could have been picked and I am sure a lot of people will voice these opinions. The one thing I see from this casting is that they are going for a younger look and really portraying the fact that Ariel was just 15 or 16 years old in the movie. The major question that I have is how old will her love interest be in the film? You have a 16 year old mermaid marrying a, would look to be, 30 year old man in the cartoon. I'm sure the age difference won't be great but I'm hopeful that whoever will play the prince will be a teenager or portray a teenager. if Ariel is herself 18 in the movie. Other than that the only other controversial casting which to me is in a controversy a tall is Melissa McCarthy being chosen as Ursula the sea witch. I believe this was perfect casting. A lot of fans, a small minority, we're asking that a drag queen, or transgender person be the one to play Ursula since that's how the character was portrayed. I never saw her some of that way. Ursula reminded me of those loud and outspoken black church ladies that did a lot of gossiping every Sunday afternoon. She never came across to me as a cross-dressing man. But that's just my opinion. Mike Price Talks About Bill Burr, The Simpsons & Being A Writer/ Exc. Producer on F Is For Family on Netflix

Michael price is at his office in Los Angeles California where he's worked with the award-winning show The Simpsons for the past 17 years waiting to hear the results from Netflix on how well F is for Family season 3 has done. it takes Netflix a little while to tally up the results and provide the information on whether or not a show will be renewed for a new season. In the patience of that, he and the other show creators are talking about a few ideas for a possible season 4. He has also worked with Lucasfilms on The Empire Strikes Out and the Yoda Chronicles. Mike is a huge Star Wars fan. His advice on how to reach young children and get them into the world of Star Wars is to start with films or cartoons that really speak to young children and then slowly introduce them to the original Star Wars movies and go from there.

The idea of F is for family first begin as possible little shorts for Bill Burr's website in the same vein of The Simpsons when they started as shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show. Then when the idea of the 70s bass family began to circulate around Vince Vaughn and his production company it was then picked up by Netflix to be a  half hour episodic cartoon. Since Bill Burr could not draw or had any experience in developing a cartoon Mike Pence joint the team and bounce ideas off of each other till Bill and he decided to create a lot of the characters from their own life experiences.  a lot of the neighbors and areas of the small town were from life experience where Mike  price grew up.

On my interview with Mike Price he shared a lot about creating these amazingly funny characters such as  Jimmy Fitzsimmons, Rosie, and Anthony and really goes into dip of how they were created. If you have not already have enjoyed F is for family on Netflix you would be wise to subscribe if you're not already asleep scriber and binge-watch seasons 1 through 3. from the mind of Bill Burr and executive producer and writer Mike Price you will enjoy F is for family on Netflix. more available on the video interview on our YouTube channel.

Would It Be Better For Sony To Have Rebooted The Real Ghostbusters Cartoon

I believe that Sony missed a better opportunity to reboot the correct franchise. I never watched the cartoon Ghostbusters Extreme but I saw enough to know that it would have been best to continue the movies with this concept. With the upcoming reboot of Ghostbusters a lot of fans are up in arms about the direction the movie is going. Most think an all female cast is to blame but with them being as funny as they are in their own right.

I see it more to the failure of the marketing. Having a mixed group of youngsters as you got from the cartoon was the best course of action.  I'm looking forward to the movie but I'm still keeping my expectations low.

I came across a picture of Egon Spangler from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon in the 80's and damn if I didn't notice a similarity of Kate McKinnon's character and Egon. Its almost identical. I think this is the direction Sony should have gone. If Sony were to reboot the cartoon and it failed then no harm to the original. You call it a reboot of the original film even thought its a total remake, it still cast a shadow if it fails.

Talking Through The Good Dinosaur Teaser Trailer

The soft silence of the opening in space. Hearing the two asteroids hit and send a six mile wide meteor burning to Earth as you witness it just miss it completely leaving every dinosaur on the planet completely safe. Hilarious. It made me giggle.

Going into this I had to clear my head. Everything I was hearing about it was not pleasant for me. I really think this will be a bad one. Or at least thought so. This trailer works and it worked it magic that only Disney can seem to create. How they were able to do it with a teaser, I'll never know. Seeing the herbivores eating their grass as they only raised their heads in a "What the heck was that"motion when the meteor passes in the sky was so funny it distracted me from how amazing the graphic and detail looked.

This looks like its going to be another hit. So far so go. Thank you Disney, you got me again.

Here's my freaking money. I hear there's s human boy that acts like a dog. . .still, take the money!

Wait, Neil Patrick Harris. . .Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Disney's Frozen: I believe is one of the hottest movies of 2013

To all movie fans like myself I call you to arms to go check out Frozen, the latest film by Disney Animation. It was done without the help of Pixar, which I'll admit made me skeptical about seeing till I remembered how much I loved Wreck It Ralph. This movie was a huge surprise to me. I went in with no feelings of interest which probably worked to my advantage because my expectations were so low. I was shocked at how much I loved this movie. I believed that the days of Disney musicals were over; no more, they are alive and well. In fact I believe this will reboot the comeback of the blueprint.

I took my son to see this movie, who himself, never saw a trailer or clip. We both were totally fresh and came out together singing "Let It Go" which was performed by actress and singer Idina Menzel in her role as Queen Elsa.

I came out loving this movie, the characters were hilarious. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad all had amazing chemistry. Josh Gad played the snowman in the movie which was the character that made me assume would be no good, surprisingly became the best thing about the movie because it was executed in the opposite way I expected it to be done. I won't say for spoiler reasons but I will say that I assumed the character would be the Donkey i.e. Shrek of the movie, which worked for Shrek but I felt would be overkill for Disney. Absolutely not the case. Perfect pitch.

I developed a interest and a sense of caring for these characters and recommend people of all ages to support it. I will say that Frozen will go down on my list as one of my top 20 Disney films defiantly above a few Pixar classics. I haven't developed the list yet but that's coming soon. Go see it, Frozen will not disappoint and you'll come out a changed movie Franatic who will believe in the power of a magical movie moment again. See it with a friend, turn off your phone and get ready to sing.

I rate this one: Outstanding!
