Netflix Makes Major Change Due To Schumer Comedy Controversy

Netflix is taking away the 5 star rating

According to many news outlet, including Breitbart, Netflix is changing their rating system. Seems that they are claiming its due to the fact that its old fashion. This, after Amy Schumers comedy specials was poorly reviewed by many people, this blog included, she claims that the majority of this was from Alt-Right trolling. This may be true, but I myself am a fan and share a lot of Ms. Schumers beliefs and I gave it is rating before I saw all the reviews. I don't believe that Netflix just coincidentally just came to this. If they were always thinking of doing it they should have just done it without a news release. Especially this close to the aftermath of Schumers claim of trolling.

I feel that this is very reactive and too appeasing. It shows a lack of leadership if Netflix is catering to a celebrities bad press. Its a lack of integrity if they're just using the timing to do something they always planned to do. Either way, it doesn't feel right. But at the end of the day, no one will care of remember a month after the change is implemented
. Netflix will make the system better and cooler and fans will get over the news or "fake news" if this counts as fake news.
