A short film written by Nelson Scott and directed by Meiko Tayler called By His Stripes. A tale of a young man's ability to face the mortality of his mother through his love and faith. The thing that I was first aware of just a few minutes into it was the connection between mother and son. I took a lot from this, it reminded me of the connection I have with my grandmother. The strength in faith in the church and the way the characters played by Denise Dowse and Nelson Scott was believable to the point where I could feel a familial bond. The direction of the story steers the viewer to deal with the realisation that we all must leave the world some day. How we choose to go can be up to us. Will you go kicking and screaming, in denial or with laughter and love? These are the things, when there are so few, within our control. This message of how we choose to heal was exceptional well crafted. This short film made me think of mercy and grace repeatedly until the very end.
There is a lot of talent in Scotts writing, singling, acting and energy. More than just belief, I know for a fact this will be a career to pay attention to.
Staring Denise Dowse, Nelson Scott and Robbie Danzie.

This is the pure definition of a teaser trailer. Nothing said, nothing really done, just a few poses. A sort of stage setting in place. Nothing really revealed that will give us anything about the story. This is just a credit to the costume design and make up team. From the looks of this trailer it seems like this is just a bunch of test shoots. Possibly for future wallpapers and posters. That being said, music can set the tone it's almost anything and leave you wondering. after watching the teaser trailer to the upcoming birds of prey movie I'm left feeling a 90s drama romance genre. Possibly even a crimes of passion thriller with just a hint of a crazy.
So far the images of the cast seem dark and fun. The potential of a potpourri of a emotional funbag with a beautiful tone is exactly what is needed to spice things up in the dceu. Still no word from the powers-that-be at Warner if there is a future for the Man of steel with Henry Cavill and Batman with Ben Affleck but what we do know is that DC is taking a few cues from marvel.
Before any one bites my head off what I mean is imitation is the ultimate form of flattery and in this situation very smart in any genre not just the comic book films. It's a good thing that the Man of steel movie has a different field than a shazam movie. That the suicide squad had a different feeling then the Wonder woman movie and Aquaman movie. When DC announced that all their movies would be dark and serious you might as well have made a recipe for future boredom and always the same.
Now they've learned that putting each one of their comic book films in the vein of a different genre be a rom-com or a murder mystery is the way we keep our audience excited. This is the way it's done in the comic book world so why not in the comic book movie. Just because marvel sort of figure that out first doesn't mean it should not be done in every cinematic universe.
I'm excited to see what's coming next and once the next trailer drops I will definitely give a reaction. If I'm sold on that reaction I will refrain from watching any more footage and go straight to the screening.
Right off the bat we have a secret organization bent on saving the world. That's what I like, a villain who sees themselves as the heroes. They have to believe they are the last chance at humanities salvation in order to keep paving the road to hell with good intentions. Now that Dr. Frankenstein has created the monster, it is time to see which monster will rise by the end of this season.
I sense a incoming passing of the torch to our true master of evil, Shauna, played by Brianne Howey. There is a draw to her character, a silent death that lingers in the room. We've already seen what she is capable of. To be on death row for the murder of your parents and tossed away like garbage only to be given supernatural powers has a larger impact on me than anything else. Dr. Tim was bitten by accident. He is the most vulnerable to the illness but so far is the most powerful in the room. Is his age a set back or the true reason that he will lead in a Dracula like state?
I think it will be Shauna who takes the throne from Tim and show us the true meaning of evil. The way she invades ones dream rivals even Freddy. Using sexuality is an obvious plot but it is affective no matter how much it is used. Even when you know what you're dealing with, you can't help but to be drawn in to her power.
All hail the future queen of the passage.

The story starts off with a planet that has primitive technology has no it was supposed to be 1995 or. And it came from a simple first contact episode 2 a more backwards thinking civilization then some of the other planets and I'm including that planet that voted on life and death scenarios like American idol.
to imprison People based on when they were born was not entertaining at all. And with people hating the Orville and not enough people warming up to it quick enough for it to continue forward this show cannot afford a miscalculation and writing like this. This show has done better and can be better. Right now this is considered the weakest and worst episode I've seen.
The best part of it was introducing the new head of security character but that was pretty much it everything else could have been left behind. I don't know if this was supposed to be a lesson about the content of character near Martin Luther King Day but that was barely caught if that was even the point. And I'm feeling as though I'm grasping at straws to make it connect.
I just did not see the logic in the story telling. I mean come on you're smart enough to want to reach out but dumb enough to not think aliens would think differently? I mean what was the point? If the natives would have been hostile from the get go or it would have been a trap for a higher purpose it would have worked but it was a step backwards.
Let's just say that the people of this planet that was introduced to the Orville were lucky they did not meet the Krill first or me because I would have wiped them out. Leave no Man behind. that's the model that they would have been introduced to messing around with me. I look forward to seeing the next episode and hopefully getting back on track
What should we call this? Most people refer to it as the Unbreakable Franchise or Trilogy. Since all three movies are stand alones and have a common connection I think using a name already used in the titles of the film does it a disservice. My suggestions for the trilogy official name have been the following:
Breakable Fractured Broken M. Night Shyamalan Universe (MNSU)
Maybe this will be the final installment on the big screen but with Shyamalan making huge steps forward with these films, I think it is time to give him his own production studio on the lot (Tyler Perry style) so he can expand and have new writer, directors and characters take this universe in a various of new directions.
I would love to see this story continue on Netflix, Hulu or Amazon. Even a cable channel such as Starz or Fx would work. The material is rich with possibilities.
After screening the Glass film it is definitely an origin if you really think about it.
Without giving anything away, the ground work for a TV series and/or more films with a bigger budget would definitely work. Once the results come in from the box office and this hit of a film takes the number one spot (my prediction) this should solidify the notion. I'm hoping that this film is a huge success. Comparing it to original superhero films not based on comic books this is by far the most superior. Lets see how I feel after Incredibles 3.
Go see this film. If you haven't seen Unbreakable or Split you'll be a little confused by not by much. I highly recommend bingeing them first or after seeing Glass. If you watch them out of order it may be a better experience (Star Wars style).

M. Night Shyamalan brings together the narratives of two of his standout originals—2000’s Unbreakable, from Touchstone, and 2016’s Split, from Universal—in one explosive, all-new comic-book thriller: Glass. From Unbreakable, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, known also by his pseudonym Mr. Glass. Joining from Split are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast. Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men. I think Keanu Reeves is having more fun playing John Wick than he did playing Neo. Its just a hunch but when I see him on set or in action, it just looks like he's having a blast. The more I think about it, the more I feel like JW should just keep going and going until the day comes that he runs his own Continental.

TRENDING Bad Boys III begins filming
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were spotted causing traffic in ATL. Nothing new to report just expressing happiness that the movie is officially on the way. I think that an opportunity to capitalize on the franchise was missed. It could have been what Fast and The Furious became eventually, if they would have produced the films back to back.

Rumors & Specs Spider-Man Trailer
Is Mysterio pretending to be a good guy? I believe is.
Hydroman/Sandman? Probably not, just an illusion most likely. I'm wondering if Mysterio has found the alien technology from the Avengers movie just like Vulture or was one of his customers.
Real magic? Could he be a failed wizard from Dr. Strange?
Evidence Far From Home Take Place before Infinity War (bus). Maybe it is I'm now fifty fifty
