I haven't seen the movie in a long time but the moment I saw this trailer all I could think of was Fear staring Mark Walberg. I don't have any expectations for this film. It seems to be just like the typical stalker film. I was not really entertained. Seems to a film that should go straight to Netflix. I won't waist more words on this trailer. Other than it seems to have told the whole story the moment the trailer indicated that Brosnan was the hero.

Suicide Squad SPOILER REVIEW
I enjoyed the DC Cinematic Universe in this order:
- Batman VS Superman: Ultimate Edition
- Man of Steel
- Suicide Squad
- Batman VS Superman: Theatricals Version
The villain was the weakest point of this film. I loved Enchantress, except for the dance scene, her brother on the other hand was a very weak villain. Almost no point to have him until the very end of the film. I wish they would have focused more on smaller missions to have more moments with the Squad to grow as a team.
I felt that the pasting was all over the place. The music unsed in the film was offputing though I loved the songs. It was weird.
The Joker was great but there wasn't enough of him for my taste. Harley was pitch perfect and as was Diablo and Deadshot. It just felt as though the movie as a whole was struggling to find its identity. Comedy/Action
Action/Comedy
Dramedy/Action
It kept going back and forth. Also the best jokes were in the trailer. It would've been best for them to hold back. Focus on the action and saved one punch line for the debut.
A great moment was The Flash cameo. But even then it was just a mind boggele. Is this film set before Justice League why does The Flash have his suite? I'm sure they'll later tell us that the event is set in the middle of Suicide Squad, which wouldn't make sense because at the lease Flash would have and probably should have helped in the end.

Proof Critics Are Bias For Marvel Over DC Movies?
You've seen it and hated them. You've seen it and loved them. Movies have had their ups and downs. Usually we give them a fair shake. Today we're so ready for war, we're ready to defend a genre or particular cinematic universe from harsh criticism before confirming if we agree with the assessment. We're rooting for a films success but attach people who have a bad reaction to it. Its like telling a person who is sewing a restaurant for food poisoning, saying they don't know what their talking about and the victim is bias for other food places. This before the angry party has even tried the food or the restaurant themselves. It just makes no sense.
Yes critics are bias. The definition is rooted in the opinion of the individual. Your reaction or opinion to a movie is all your own, it belongs to no one else. So by the term, a opinion is always bias. But what the fanboys are saying is that the bias isn't for their own opinion its a preemptive bias that is prejudice against the competition. DC comics/Warner Brothers cinematic universe has its ups and downs. Since the Man of Steel to Batman VS Superman. Suicide Squad was to be the first complete hit. But when mix reviews came in from advance screenings and Rotten Tomatoes gives it an extremely bad score. Fanboys petition the site be such down.
This argument will go nowhere. If DC fanboys want to call bias by pointing a light to their own, this argument will go nowhere. Because I'm sure those guys are going to see Marvel films. I believe Marvel fanboys are seeing the DC films. Its the regular viewer they should be worried about. A small number may be influenced by bad reviews but the majority will more likely be
Michael Steel said it best just a moment ago on MSNBC regarding the election polls but I think it fits. Its the focus on the crowd in front of you (fellow DC fanboys) instead of the crowd we should be watching (regular movie goers) with the crowd that's in front of you. We feel that a movie is great because we loved it along side of our pocket of like minded fellow fanboy friends and we think that represents the whole world. It doesn't. Majority of viewers aren't reading comic books and learning about the Squad for the first time. This was the same risk Marvel had with the Guardians.
What fans are upset about is that Marvel has had time to build trust. Movies that should have been a failure, Ironman, Antman, Guardians, Captain America and Thor, were hits. and the ones that were not so well received, Ironman 2 & Thor 2 still gives Marvel a history of success over "failure". DC is just establishing their universe and both films were met with rocky starts. Not because the film was bad, that is a subjective opinion person-to-person. The problem is that Marvel had the benifit of lower expectations from fans and films like The Dark Knight (Warners) and the Avengers raising fans standards and expectations. Now that DC is starting out after those expectations have been raised they're being looked at to meet the criteria.
The uproar would imply that Marvel film makers are not equally being criticized with the same expectations. Kevin Fiege helped create the standard, so he has learned a great understanding of what the quality of his films should meet. And he does it more often than not. DC has not done this quite as well in my opinion. Though I liked all the movies so far, little things like Superman killed and the Martha/Editing stuff was uproars that DC fanboys complained about more than Marvel, in my opinion. Because they thought the films weren't being handled correctly. But now we're attacking critics. You can't call yourself a fan who's only giving constructive criticism and say that Critics are bias. Rotten Tomatoes algorithm doesn't measure constructive criticism. Okay, relax guys. What we get is what we get. Enjoy the film, if you like it spread the word. Sometimes the critics are judging on all aspects that we're not looking at. Like Lighting and editing. Sometimes us fans just want to see something explode and when it does we give it a 10 out of 10.
We must do and expect better of ourselves.

Sofia Boutella Performance As Jaylah In Star Trek Beyond
Sofia Takes Us Beyond
Its no secret that I loved the third Star Trek film. I believe it is the best of the trilogy. According to sources, the franchise is green lit for four more films. Sofia Boutella's character Jaylah is easily a throw away character but I hope she joins the team officially. Sofia brought magic to this character as she brought magic to Kingsmen movie.
Both situations, I had low expectations and both times I was blown away, mostly from what she brought to the situation. I don't know why she is such a mesmerizing person. I have yet to look into the rest of her career, I don't know of her personal life. But the energy and charisma she brings to the screen is something I see as nothing but extraordinary.
The character Jaylah was instantly lovable, an ass kicker and a scene stiller. She's like instant gravity. Not just because of her looks, she's obviously an attractive woman, but what makes her attractive is her energy. Even the quiet riot she brought to Kingsmen, it was a show stopping performance and now I'm worried because with her upcoming films, like The Mummy, I'm totally aware of her now and will have the bar set up high. If she stays on this path, I'll look for her to take her career to the next level.
Dare I say Oscar?
I see the potential for greatness in her acting. I don't know what it is but she's going to bring home the gold in my eyes. Someone needs to take a chance on her with a drama. I feel she would just kill it.
Till then. Go see Star Trek Beyond, beside her great performance the rest of the film is amazing. It is totally re-watchable, more so than the first two were and I liked the first two. Instant classic. With a class act of a cast.

My Daughter Will Be Daddy's Little Monster
I Love This T-Shirt
When I saw Harley Quinn rocking this shirt in the Suicide Squad trailer, I wanted it for my little girl. My baby daughter Cassidy Elise Fagan. She is the love of my life and my little angel. I will be front row and battle rattle to see this amazing movie. I think it will be a true epic event. Minus the psychotic behavior, I want my daughter to be just like Dr. Quinn. I'd be her Mr. J and she will always have my back just like I have her's. She is the one true woman I will make sure will always be safe and well protected. I love my little baby girl. She is my little monster and a shining star. Love you baby.

Ghostubers 2016 Is The Cartoon The Real Ghostbusters Come To Life
With no expectations, I walked in to a movie theater and walked out generally entertained. I had fun up to the third act where it just became a way to sell 3D movies to the world. It just turned a bad corner where the only point was the jam as much CG it could handle. There was so much fun to be had with this film. The scenes I felt I would be disappointed in, I turned around a huge belly laugh and the ones I was hopeful for, I was just whelmed.
There seems to be a weird clash of fans that believe that the more this movie is loved the more copies of the originals will erase from the DVD's, VHS's and Digital downloads from the hearts and minds of film fans. I don't see this as a proper sequel, nor reboot or remaking of the original films. Even though we have cameos. Some that were spot on perfect, others that were a few stinkers, I see this as a film adaptation of the cartoon The Real Ghostbusters. Hell, maybe more of a film adaptation of Slimer and The Real Ghostbusters.
I feel like if it spawns a sequel, they'll need to add a few men in the team. Allow it to grow and use more villains from the cartoon. Sony should make an announcement and tell the world "We were just kidding guys, this is a adaptation of the cartoon, not the movie". The boogieman should be the villain of the sequel. SPOILERS!!! Kristen Wiig's character tells a creepy story of why she believes in ghosts, saying she had a mean old lady neighbor who lived across the street and died. For thirty days every night would appear at the foot of her bed and would just stare at her while she tried to sleep. No one ever believed her. This story freaked me out a little and I think it deserves a look into it.
Something I hated about the film was the third act where it just got silly and the villain became ever more lamer. I couldn't wait for the threat to be over and the focus back on the team. The relationship between the Ghostbusters was the best parts of the movie. Kate McKinnon was the best part of the movie as was Leslie Jones. You'll enjoy yourself.

Here is what Brad Brevet from Rottom Tomatoes had to say about the Weekend Preview.
Can 'Ghostbusters' Scare Up a $50M Opening?
by Brad Brevet
This weekend Sony's Ghostbusters hits theaters amid a flurry of headlines such as being named the film with the most disliked movie trailer in YouTube history to Sony chief Tom Rothman responding to the negative online response by telling The Hollywood Reporter, "It's the greatest thing that ever happened. Are you kidding me? We're in the national debate, thank you. Can we please get some more haters to say stupid things?" As a result, awareness certainly seems high, but how that awareness translates to box office is the big question. There's always the old saying, "There's no such thing as bad press"... right?
Back in 2015 online furor called Mad Max: Fury Road "feminist drivel filth". Ultimately the uproar didn't have a noticeable impact on Fury Road's box office performance as it opened with $45 million, grossed over $150 million domestically and over $375 million worldwide on a $150 million budget. The comparison may end up eerily similar for Ghostbusters given the film's $144 million budget and its expected opening weekend.
In attempting to forecast that opening weekend, sorting the signal from the noise is a near impossibility. One might be tempted to put stock in Ghostbusters' more than 2.9 million Facebook fans. Trouble is, that page wasn't focused on the reboot until around May 2015 and even as of November 2015 it still featured the cast of the originalGhostbusters film in its "About" section at a time when it had already amassed nearly 2.4 million fans.
A study of IMDb.com traffic data is also tough to go by over the past few days. The results could very easily be skewed as a result of headlines focused on alleged ballot-stuffing suggesting a small group of IMDb users were attempting to intentionally lower the film's user score. For some perspective, the film's IMDb user rating currently stands at 4.1/10 with over 14,000 votes, 50% of which score the film 1/10. Only one-third of the film's grades have come from outside the United States and so far the only territory that has released the film is the UK, and that was on July 11.
Information that can be considered a little more closely includes the 74% rating on RottenTomatoes forGhostbusters, which has held relatively steady over the past few days. Also, Fandango.com reports the film is the online ticket retailer's top pre-selling live-action comedy of the year so far. The film is outselling comparable titles including Central Intelligence and Ride Along 2, both of which opened over $35 million, and is looking to become director Paul Feig and star Melissa McCarthy's top preseller on Fandango, suggesting an opening above 2013's The Heat ($39.1m).
In terms of a prediction, Sony is going conservative, anticipating a $38-40 million opening for the film. Given the pre-sale information alone, that forecast looks like a bare minimum as an opening closer to $45-50 million seems like a reasonable opening weekend range. While that would give the film the largest opening for a live action comedy this year, topping Central Intelligence's $35.5 million opening last month, the size of the budget and the fact this is being looked at as a franchise starter means it's going to want a multiplier similar to the 4.78 average multiplier Feig's last three films have delivered.
We'll also be keeping a close eye on the film's international performance, especially since it was just revealed it will not be released in China, partly as a result of China's official censorship guidelines prohibiting movies that "promote cults or superstition". However, the film has already hit theaters in the UK and will also be released in Australia, Brazil and a few smaller territories this weekend. It will expand its international footprint over the weeks to come.
Targeting a first place finish once again, Illumination and Universal's The Secret Life of Pets is likely to drop around 46-48% for a second weekend around $54 million. Pets is playing somewhat similarly to Inside Out, which dropped 42% in its second weekend, but given the massive, $104.3 million opening for Pets, a bit of a larger drop than Inside Out experienced is to be expected.
The weekend's other new wide release is Broad Green's The Infiltrator, which opened on Wednesday in 1,600 theaters and brought in $773,761. Reviews have been somewhat mixed with the film currently hovering just above that rotten/fresh line with a 62% rating on RottenTomatoes as a weekend around $4 million seems like a safe expectation.
In limited release a couple markets will get a double dose of Kristen Stewart this weekend with the limited release of Woody Allen's latest film, Cafe Society, into five theaters and A24 releasing Drake Doremus'sEquals into two theaters following the film's DirecTV debut.
Finally, the political climate heats up in theaters as well as on the campaign trailer with Quality Flix releasingDinesh D'Souza's Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party into three theaters this weekend followed by a nationwide expansion into 1,200+ theaters next weekend, just after the Republican National Convention has wrapped up.
This weekend's forecast is directly below. This post will be updated on Friday morning with Thursday night preview results followed by Friday estimates on Saturday morning, and a complete weekend recap on Sunday morning.
- The Secret Life of Pets (4,382 theaters) - $54.3 M

Lights Out Movie Review
What's in the closet, what's under the bed. We've asked ourselves these questions before we really understood where they come from. This movie ironically sheds light on those feelings we have. The fear of the dark. When we hear a sound, that could just be the house settling, we turn it into the house settling to come to life and destroy us. From birth we create an alternative universe where the darkness is a living breathing creature that will someday claim our souls. Then comes this movie, which is quite a great piece of work. It did have a few jump scares that were in very effective places. You'll get tense you'll be drawn in the the darkness. The atmosphere of this film is like gravity that draws you into its deep dark secrets. The mystery behind the monster wasn't as original as it could have been but it pulls from the deepest secrets of the dark.
The acting from the little brother wasn't great, though you feel scared for him and want him to get away. His performance kept taking me out of the movie. He reminded me too much of the son from The Ring. Though I see potential, he's a much better actor that a lot of people out there. I just think this directed didn't get what he could have from this boy. The best performances were from Teresa Palmer and Maria Bello. I was also happy to see that the movie would open with the actress from the YouTube video that started this whole thing, Lota Losten, was brought in to set the tone of this film.
Over all I was very happy with the movie, I give it 3.5 out of 5. Check it out.
